Job summary

Overlake Hospital Medical Center in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator for the Imaging Department. You will handle patient visit scheduling, gather exam information, and coordinate staff, room and equipment for imaging procedures.

Responsibilities include insurance verification, referrals, pre-certifications, and liaison duties with Care Management, physicians, and insurers. Strong English, customer service and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of experience in clinical or hospital scheduling preferred.
  • Imaging scheduling experience highly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Basic Microsoft software (Excel, Word) required.
  • Epic systems experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to work with diverse people.
  • Knowledge of hospital computer systems and terminal digit filing systems.

Responsibilities
