Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in La Grange, KY is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing service schedule. This role emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and compliance with regulations.

You will create the campus four‑week master schedule, publish postings, manage nursing hours, attendance, PTO, and onboarding to ensure smooth operations and optimal resident care. A strong scheduling background helps you thrive here.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create the campus' four-week Master set schedule and post schedule in accordance with the Scheduling Standards policy.
• Generate all required postings such as BIPA, daily assignment sheets, and monthly schedules.
• Manage nursing hours (PPD) and proper staff ratio to census.
• Manage Time and Attendance, including Attendance points, buy-backs, shift pickup incentives.
• Meets each new employee to review their schedule, ask what needs they have, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Assists the Director of Nursing (DON) to plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department, as well as its programs and activities, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the health center.

Key Responsibilities

• Creates the campus' four (4) week Master set schedule and posts schedule in accordance with the Scheduling Standards policy.
• Generates all required postings such as BIPA, daily assignment sheets, and monthly schedules.
• Manages nursing hours (PPD) and proper staff ratio to census.
• Manages Time and Attendance, including Attendance points, buy-backs, shift pickup incentives.
• Utilizes Smartlinx's functionality, including posting open shifts, filling open shifts, PTO approval/denial and employee messaging.
• Manages, supports, and coordinates employees' PTO requests, holiday rotations, and shift trades.
• Meets each new employee to review their schedule, ask what needs they have, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
