Job summary

YA is seeking a Scheduling Consultant for a full-time, on-site role in Dallas, TX. The candidate will develop and maintain CPM schedules using Primavera P6 and ASTA Powerproject, coordinating with project teams to ensure schedule integrity across design, procurement, construction and turnover.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Collect and validate schedule data from project managers and stakeholders and update the schedule.
  • Establish and maintain baselines, monitor performance, and identify variances.
  • Build cost- and resource-loaded schedules, support earned value, and generate reports.
  • Prepare monthly reporting packages with narratives and KPI summaries.
  • Develop detailed CPM schedules for proposals and active projects.
  • Perform network logic analysis to validate sequencing and critical path.
  • Conduct what-if analyses to evaluate risks and recovery options.
  • Facilitate schedule coordination meetings with teams and contractors.
  • Support pull planning to align sequencing and commissioning.
  • Present data-driven schedule insights to executives.

Summary:

We’re seeking a full-time, onsite Scheduling Consultant to support a large-scale data center project. This role requires scheduling expertise with Primavera P6 to develop, maintain, and analyze cost- and resource-loaded Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules. The Scheduler will provide accurate planning, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring alignment across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.

The position involves close collaboration with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and owners’ representatives to maintain schedule integrity and drive project success. Work Location:
  • Dallas, TX
    This role is based in Dallas, TX. Candidates must be willing to relocate within a 300-mile radius for the duration of the project.
    Work will be performed in both office and active construction environments, requiring regular field walks and coordination with project teams and contractors. The position requires schedulers to be on-site five days a week. Specific project location details will be provided during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and validate schedule update data from project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and owners’ representatives, and incorporate approved updates into the schedule.
  • Establish and maintain project schedule baselines in compliance with contractual requirements, monitoring performance and identifying variances.
  • Build and manage cost- and resource-loaded schedules, update actuals to support earned value, and generate standard reports including critical activities, baseline deviations, earned value indices, and cash flow.
  • Prepare monthly reporting packages, including narratives and KPI summaries for management and client review.
  • Develop detailed CPM schedules from the ground up for proposals and active projects.
  • Perform network logic analysis to validate sequencing, float accuracy, and critical path alignment.
  • Conduct “what-if” and time-impact analyses to evaluate risks, delays, and recovery options.
  • Facilitate schedule coordination meetings with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Support planning sessions such as pull planning to align construction sequencing and commissioning requirements.
  • Provide clear, data-driven schedule insights that support executive decision-making and project delivery.
  • Process complex information, communicating clearly and presenting work confidently to diverse audiences.
  • Assess the impact of project changes and schedule delays, effectively communicating findings (e.g. time impact analyses).
  • Maintain job files, documentation, and other relevant deliverables.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience required, including scheduling or other relevant filed work
  • Experience with Data Centers preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience preferred.
  • Proven experience scheduling large-scale data center, mission-critical, or advanced manufacturing projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of schedule risk analysis, delay analysis, and recovery planning.
  • Experience using critical path method (CPM) techniques to analyze construction project schedules.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
