Job description

Our client is seeking experienced Construction Schedulers to support project planning, fabrication, design, and production activities in Orlando. These positions will develop and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6, with a strong emphasis on CPM scheduling, resource loading, manpower forecasting, and schedule analysis. The Scheduler will partner with project, design, fabrication, and operational teams to build realistic schedules, monitor progress, identify potential delays, and develop recovery strategies that keep projects and production activities on track.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project, fabrication, design, and production schedules using Primavera P6.
• Build and manage CPM schedules, including activity sequencing, logic ties, WBS structures, constraints, lags, float, and critical path analysis.
• Create resource-loaded schedules to forecast manpower requirements and support workforce planning.
• Partner with project, fabrication, design, and operational teams to establish realistic schedules and develop recovery plans when necessary.
• Monitor schedule performance, track progress, identify delays or risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Produce schedule updates, forecasts, manpower projections, and schedule analyses for project stakeholders and leadership.
• Evaluate potential schedule impacts resulting from scope changes, design revisions, production disruptions, and other project changes.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of construction scheduling experience with hands-on use of Primavera P6.
• Experience developing and maintaining resource-loaded schedules, including cost and/or resource loading.
• Strong experience with manpower forecasting and workforce planning.
• Working knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
• Ability to build and evaluate logic ties, float, WBS structures, activities, lags, and critical paths.
• Experience performing schedule updates, progress tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ability to collaborate with project, design, fabrication, and operational stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Scheduling experience within fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or a similar project-driven environment.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience developing schedule recovery plans.
• Experience evaluating schedule impacts associated with scope or design changes.
