Job summary

Parker Aerospace seeks a Scheduler to coordinate daily workflow in a fast-paced aerospace repair and manufacturing environment. You will work with production, planning, inspection, quality, stockroom, and customer-facing teams to keep work moving and on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, effective communication, and a willingness to cross-train in stockroom activities, supporting components movement and schedule adjustments.

Qualifications

  • Three or more years of experience in production scheduling, dispatching, materials coordination, shop floor coordination, production planning, or a similar manufacturing support role.
  • Intermediate computer skills with experience in Microsoft platforms (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.), computerized production, inventory, ERP, and/or MRP systems.
  • Basic understanding of work orders, routings, travelers, inventory movement, and manufacturing flow.
  • Ability to read and understand production documentation such as travelers, routings, setup sheets, and basic blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate system information.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and respond to changing production needs.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team-based environment.
  • Willingness to cross-train and support stockroom activities as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, stage, and coordinate work through the repair station, machining department, and related manufacturing areas.
  • Monitor work-in-process activity to help ensure jobs move efficiently and customer delivery dates are supported.
  • Update production and inventory systems with accurate work order, inventory, shortage, and schedule information.
  • Partner with production, planning, inspection, quality, and stockroom teams to resolve holds, shortages, paperwork issues, and schedule conflicts.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks or capacity concerns and help coordinate schedule adjustments, priority changes, or recovery plans.
  • Support expedited customer needs, including aircraft-on-ground or other high-priority repair requirements.
  • Track work order and purchase order status to help ensure materials and components are available when needed.
  • Communicate schedule status, estimated completion dates, and shipping updates to internal business partners.
  • Cross-train in aftermarket stockroom processes and provide backup support when the primary stockroom employee is unavailable.
  • Move and handle materials using approved equipment such as carts, dollies, hand trucks, or forklifts as required.
  • Participate in daily production meetings and continuous improvement activities focused on safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
  • Follow all company safety rules, quality procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Summary

We are looking for a motivatedSchedulerto help coordinate daily work flow in a fast-paced aerospace repair and manufacturing environment. This role supports aPart 145 repair stationwhere aerospace engine lubrication and scavenge pumps are repaired and overhauled, as well as a supporting machining department.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their operations, supply chain, production planning, or manufacturing career who wants to grow in a technical aerospace environment. You will work closely with production, planning, inspection, quality, stockroom, and customer-facing teams to keep work moving, solve problems, and support on-time delivery.

The Scheduler will also be cross-trained in aftermarket stockroom activities to provide backup support when needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule, stage, and coordinate work through the repair station, machining department, and related manufacturing areas.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in aerospace, aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul, machining, or regulated manufacturing preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with Part 145 repair station operations or FAA-regulated work environments preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of MRP II, APICS, capacity planning, or shop floor control concepts.
  • Experience with AMAPS or similar manufacturing planning systems.

  • Pay Range: $20.13/hr to $33.55/hr
