Job summary

HCA Healthcare Colleton Hospital in Walterboro, SC seeks an OR Scheduler to coordinate all surgical procedures for the Surgical Services Department. You will build and maintain relationships with surgeon office staff and support scheduling needs across the OR team.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED and strong communication abilities.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential.

Job Summary And Qualifications

• Duties consist of scheduling for all surgical procedures for the Surgical Services Department.
• Excellent communication skills and the development of relationships with surgeon office staff is required.
• Other duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with data collection, scheduler meetings, OR process changes, and secretarial duties.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Graduate / GED is required.
• Working knowledge of the scheduling module as well as scheduling of patients is preferred.
• Medical Terminology is required with surgical terminology preferred.
• Effective communication skills; both orally and written. Good people skills, computer skills, organization skills and time-management skills.
• Strong problem solving skills also required.
