Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida is seeking a Scheduler to be the first point of contact for patients and callers, scheduling appointments and procedures accurately while gathering insurance authorizations, eligibility, prescriptions, blood test results and demographics.

You will maintain patient confidentiality, provide excellent customer service, and support coordination of care through clear communication.

Qualifications

Scheduler is responsible for answering incoming phone calls and providing a positive, professional first point of contact for patients and other callers. This role involves scheduling appointments and procedures accurately while obtaining and verifying all required information, such as insurance authorizations, eligibility, prescriptions, blood test results, and patient demographics. This role is expected to maintain a high level of customer service, ensure patient confidentiality in accordance with established policies and procedures, and support seamless coordination of care through clear and respectful communication. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
