Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Scheduler II to oversee planning and scheduling activities at our Omaha project sites. You will work with site teams and trade partners to develop schedules using CPM methods, monitor progress, and support mitigation of delays with practical solutions.

You should have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering and at least two years of construction scheduling experience. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Minimum of two years construction experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience as a project engineer is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices, and company software.
• Basic knowledge of standard construction practices, project sequencing, project management, contracts, and buyout.
• Ability to exercise creativity and mature judgment in solving problems.
• Basic plan and specification reading, review, and interpretation skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative to seek innovative solutions.

Summary

Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Scheduler II with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever‑changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Scheduler II will provide oversight of all planning and scheduling activities.

The base pay range for this role is $89,500 MIN - $120,800 MAX (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
