Title: Scheduler I
Location: Saginaw, MI
Compensation: $40-$60/hr
Length: 12-months
Responsibilities
The Scheduler is responsible for the coordination, scheduling and support of daily field construction work and planning of resources specific to the assigned business unit.
Establish and execute a daily plan for the work; may include organizing and dispatching assignments, facilitating meetings, short-range forecasting, etc.
Communicate effectively inline with supported business unit processes/procedures; may include interacting with supervision, field operations, or other operational supporting groups.
Utilize various systems to monitor work, create/submit orders and requests, observe data and make scheduling adjustments as necessary. Some roles may require a deeper dive into data review to make appropriate modifications.
Support emergent matters inline with the business units processes/procedures; may include escalations, volume monitoring, etc.
Requirements
Production schedulers typically need at least an associate\'s degree in management or a relevant field; a bachelor\'s degree may be preferred.
Experience scheduling within construction or utility industry.
