Legacy Health is seeking an Imaging Scheduler to coordinate breast imaging services such as screening and diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, and MRI. You will manage scheduling across multiple rooms, ensure accuracy, and support Breast File Room workflows in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent.
• Scheduling experience preferred; Medical Assistant/Secretary/Imaging Support Specialist background helpful.
• Experience with Epic/EMR and breast health workflows preferred.

Responsabilités

• Computerized scheduling for multiple rooms using scheduling system and verifying staff/room availability.
• May enter staff data, create schedule types and load data about personnel/budget.
• Independently performs daily patient/procedure data entry into the system.
• Assist manager with updating staff profiles and supporting scheduling tasks.
• Assist command/IT functions updating system timebooking information and reports.
• Maintain patient confidentiality while handling imaging data and results.
• Coordinate with Breast Center Radiologists to enter orders into Epic/EMR and send reminders.
• Support department operations including charges, suture lists and other clerical duties as needed to ensure revenue.

We are seeking a highly organized and patient-focused Imaging Scheduler to join our Breast Health Center team.

This role is responsible for coordinating and scheduling breast imaging services, including screening mammography, diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and related imaging procedures.

The position also supports Breast File Room operations, including managing records, imaging documentation, and coordinating patient care workflows.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with patients, providers, technologists, and support staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Experience with medical scheduling, imaging services, Epic, and breast health workflows is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Computerized Scheduling: Schedules procedures for multiple rooms using scheduling computer system. Determines availability of staff and room availability based on procedure being performed.
• Automated Computerized Staffing: May enter staff members and create schedule types, work patterns as needed. May load varying data into system about personnel, budget and staff coverage.
• Independently performs daily patient/procedure data entry into computer system.
• May assist manager with maintaining and updating staff profiles.
• May assist computer program director with various computer duties updating system, timebooking information etc.
• May independently initiate required reports. Maintains patient confidentiality.
• May work with the Breast Center Radiologists to create a smooth schedule. Duties include entering imaging study orders into Epic/EMR and sending patient result and reminder letters. This role may help order supplies and will work with PACS administrators and outside vendors.
• May function as Secretarial support-- performing various and numerous duties. Performs department typing as assigned. Completes patient charges, reviews and updates suture lists, miscellaneous charge list, etc., as needed to ensure proper revenue.

Qualifications

Education:

• Completion of high school or equivalent.

Experience:

• Medical assistant, Secretary, Unit Secretary, Surgical Technician or Imaging Support Specialist preferred. Scheduling experience preferred

Skills:

• Knowledge of appropriate computer systems and software.
• Knowledge of department policies and procedures.
• Medical terminology.
• Requires typing 35 wpm.
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work under stress.
• Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information.

Pay Range

USD $22.32 - USD $31.90 /Hr.
