Great River Health Systems is seeking a staffing coordinator to support clinic scheduling and patient communications. The role involves answering calls, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and organizing medical charts.
You will interact with patients regarding procedures and dates, while performing general clerical duties. The position requires basic computer skills and a high school diploma or GED, with preferred experience in medical terminology and healthcare environments.
Minimum Hiring Wage: From $18.89 per hour
Scheduled Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Performs duties and tasks related to clinic scheduling. Operates communication systems, such as telephone and switchboard. Answers incoming calls, greets callers, provides information, transfers calls, and/or takes messages as necessary. Performs clerical duties as needed. Duties include answering telephones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, compiling medical charts, filing, and office machine operation. Communication with patients regarding dates of procedures, dates of appointments and instructions for scheduled procedures.
