Darwin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler to own the project scheduling for multiple commercial and industrial construction projects in Virginia, USA. The role collaborates with Project Managers, Superintendents and senior leadership to ensure accurate planning, progress monitoring and schedule control.

The ideal candidate will develop and maintain Primavera P6 schedules, monitor variances, and support preconstruction planning and look-ahead analyses to mitigate delays

Qualificações

• 5-7+ years of construction scheduling experience within commercial or industrial construction.
• Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6.
• Experience developing, maintaining and updating detailed project baseline schedules.
• Understanding of critical path analysis, schedule risk management and resource allocation.
• Experience producing look-ahead schedules, Gantt charts and progress reports.

Construction Scheduler

Our client is looking for an experienced Construction Scheduler to join their team, supporting multiple commercial and industrial construction projects. The successful candidate will take ownership of project scheduling, working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents and senior leadership to ensure accurate planning, progress monitoring and schedule management.

Project Focus

Support the planning, scheduling and delivery of multiple active and upcoming construction projects. The role will develop and maintain Primavera P6 schedules, coordinate with project teams, monitor progress, analyse schedule variances and identify potential delays. You will also support preconstruction planning, bid scheduling and the standardisation of scheduling procedures across the company’s project portfolio.

Key Skills and Experience Required

• 5-7+ years of construction scheduling experience within commercial or industrial construction.
• Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6.
• Experience developing, maintaining and updating detailed project baseline schedules.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, methodologies and project delivery.
• Experience working closely with Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Ability to monitor project progress, analyse schedule variances and identify potential delays.
• Experience producing look-ahead schedules, Gantt charts and progress reports.
• Understanding of critical path analysis, schedule risk management and resource allocation.
• Experience supporting delay analysis, claims and Time Impact Analysis (TIA).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple project schedules simultaneously.
