UT Health East Texas Physicians in Tyler, TX is seeking a Cardiovascular Consultants Scheduler for day shift, full-time. You will manage appointment scheduling for procedures, verify insurance coverage, and coordinate day surgeries while maintaining department productivity logs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 2–3 years in a medical office setting, with knowledge of medical terminology and surgical scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two to three years of work experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical scheduling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Makes and schedules appointment for procedures and surgeries for patients in an efficient and timely manner.
• Verifies and pre-certifies insurance coverage for surgical procedures.
• Coordinates day surgeries within main surgery department.
