The Project

The project is constructing a high-speed rail 800-mile rail network in California. Currently, 119 miles are under construction in the Central Valley, aiming for initial operation between 2030 and 2033, with total costs estimated between $88–$128 billion.

You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Lead planning and scheduling activities, applying advanced methods, techniques and tools to optimise delivery.
  • Provide expertise in project controls, Earned Value Management and programme methodologies to support successful outcomes.
  • Communicate analysis and corrective measures clearly to clients, teams and stakeholders, influencing complex requirements.
  • Manage and develop professional teams delivering planning and schedule management services.
  • Build strong client relationships, influencing acceptance of proposals and recommendations that drive value.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to embed sustainability, carbon reduction and net zero transition into programme delivery.
You’ll Need To Have
  • Professional membership (APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA) or equivalent demonstrable development.
  • Extensive experience in planning and successful delivery of projects and programmes.
  • Strong commercial, financial and stakeholder management expertise with proven leadership of diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of sustainability, carbon reduction and digital innovation shaping project outcomes.

Note: The estimated salary for this position is 125,000 - 155,000 USD. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
