Project

The project is constructing a high-speed rail 800-mile rail network in California. Currently, 119 miles are under construction in the Central Valley, aiming for initial operation between 2030 and 2033, with total costs estimated between $88–$128 billion.

Responsibilities
  • Lead senior leadership teams, driving behaviours that achieve KPIs and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Set the standard for leadership and ownership, mentoring teams and fostering accountability across all levels.
  • Ensure site works meet programme delivery, creating and managing detailed plans with planning colleagues.
  • Champion Health, Safety and Wellbeing, embedding Mace’s values and visible behaviours across the project environment.
  • Build strong client and stakeholder relationships, converting vision into deliverable plans that embrace C2P, Net Zero and Digital innovation.
  • Create inclusive, high-performing teams, driving service excellence, fiscal responsibility, and transformational change in project delivery.
Qualifications
  • Professional membership (MCIOB, MAPM, MRICS, MICE) or equivalent demonstrable development.
  • Extensive experience delivering projects and programmes in construction or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong commercial, financial and stakeholder management expertise with proven leadership of diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of sustainability, carbon reduction and digital innovation shaping project delivery.
Note

The estimated salary for this position is 250,000 - 300,000 USD. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
