This role blends production planning, scheduling, and cross‑functional coordination. You will work across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and product teams to align materials, labor, and timelines in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.

You bring structure to complexity. You anticipate issues before they happen. And when things inevitably shift, you adjust quickly and keep everything moving forward.

A Day in the Life

  • Coordinating timelines for product builds, launches, and content releases
  • Monitoring work‑in‑progress across manufacturing and supply chain
  • Running check‑ins with stakeholders to track progress and resolve roadblocks
  • Identifying material shortages, labor gaps, or scheduling conflicts before they impact delivery
  • Adjusting schedules in real time based on changing priorities or constraints
  • Communicating updates, risks, and timeline changes to leadership
  • Working closely with engineering, quality, and operations to ensure alignment
What You’ll Do
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize production and project schedules across manufacturing and product teams
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities through the full production lifecycle
  • Ensure materials, labor, and resources are aligned with production requirements and delivery commitments
  • Monitor procurement and inventory to ensure schedule adherence
  • Identify risks such as shortages, backlogs, or bottlenecks and proactively drive solutions
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams including manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and quality
  • Support and help improve MRP/ERP‑driven planning processes
  • Track progress against milestones and ensure accountability across teams
  • Provide clear, concise reporting to leadership on schedules, risks, and performance
  • Continuously improve scheduling tools, workflows, and processes
What You’ll Bring
Required:
  • 3+ years of experience in production scheduling, planning, project coordination, or program management
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
  • Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage both big‑picture timelines and granular tasks
  • Ability to adapt quickly and re‑prioritize in a dynamic environment
Preferred:
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Familiarity with MRP, ERP, or MES systems
  • Experience supporting material planning and inventory coordination
  • Knowledge of supply chain and production control processes
  • Experience in high‑growth or startup environments
  • Interest in drones, robotics, or emerging technologies
What You’ll Gain
  • Direct impact on the execution and growth of a rapidly scaling company
  • Collaboration with cross‑functional product teams
  • Opportunities to shape and improve operational processes at scale
  • A fast‑paced environment where your ability to organize and execute drives real results

About Us

Unusual Machines is a U.S.–based drone and drone parts company focused on the small and First‑Person View (FPV) segments of the drone market. Our brands – Rotor Riot and Fat Shark – are two of the most respected names in FPV and have helped shape the industry through e‑commerce, product development, and a deep connection with the pilot community.

We’re expanding into enterprise and defense – bringing our obsessive attention to performance, design, and U.S.–based manufacturing into high‑stakes environments like search and rescue, STEM education, and military innovation. With several of our products already approved by the Defense Innovation Unit, we’re solving procurement issues for customers who demand speed, agility, and compliance.

If you love working at the intersection of community, content, and cutting‑edge technology, you’ll feel right at home here.
