Job summary

INTREN, LLC is seeking an experienced Scheduler to develop, maintain, and manage schedules for large Commercial & Industrial projects, including data centers. The role partners with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and field leadership to ensure sequencing and resource planning align with project goals.

You will own schedule integrity, perform critical path analysis, and produce look-ahead schedules and progress reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of scheduling experience on large construction projects.
• Experience managing complex, integrated project schedules independently.
• Understanding of construction sequencing across electrical, mechanical, civil, and structural disciplines.
• Experience with fast-track or mission-critical projects (data centers preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed, resource-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6 (preferred) or equivalent tools for large projects including mission critical data center projects.
• Define sequencing, durations, and logic aligned with construction means and methods.
• Integrate subcontractor, vendor, procurement, and commissioning schedules into a unified master schedule.
• Align schedule activities with field readiness, material delivery, and workforce planning.
• Partner with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and field teams to ensure schedules reflect executable work plans.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, field teams, and estimating to validate progress and constraints across all phases.
• Lead or support weekly schedule review meetings with project and field teams.
• Communicate priorities, sequencing, and critical path activities clearly to project stakeholders.
• Participate in planning sessions and ensure alignment across engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
• Track and update project progress, ensuring alignment with field conditions and production rates.

Reports To: Senior Project Manager, Project Manager

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing project schedules to support safe, efficient, and predictable execution across Commercial & Industrial (C&I) projects. This role supports both late-stage pursuits and active project execution, ensuring that sequencing, resource planning, and schedule integrity are aligned with project goals.

The Scheduler serves as a key partner to the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and field leadership, providing data-driven insights, proactive planning, and clear communication to support decision-making. This role is responsible for schedule development, analysis, and coordination, and is accountable for schedule accuracy, reporting, and supporting project controls efforts across all phases of work.

This position requires an experienced scheduling professional who can operate independently, manage highly complex project schedules, and partner with project leadership to drive decision-making and project outcomes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Schedule Development, Planning, and Coordination

• Develop and maintain detailed, resource-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6 (preferred) or equivalent tools for large projects including mission critical data center projects with scope focused on site dry medium voltage site electric utilities.
• Define sequencing, durations, and logic aligned with construction means and methods.
• Integrate subcontractor, vendor, procurement, and commissioning schedules into a unified master schedule.
• Align schedule activities with field readiness, material delivery, and workforce planning.
• Partner with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and field teams to ensure schedules reflect executable work plans.

Operations Team Execution and Communication Support

• Collaborate closely with project managers, field teams, and estimating to ensure alignment across all phases to validate progress, constraints, and upcoming work.
• Lead or support weekly schedule review meetings with project and field teams.
• Communicate priorities, sequencing, and critical path activities clearly to project stakeholders.
• Participate in planning sessions and ensure alignment across engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
• Track and update project progress, ensuring alignment with field conditions and production rates.

Schedule Management, Reporting & Project Controls

• Maintain full ownership of schedule integrity, including logic, sequencing, and critical path accuracy.
• Perform critical path analysis, float management, and schedule risk identification.
• Support change management, delay analysis, and documentation for potential claims.
• Produce detailed reporting including look-ahead schedules, resource forecasts, and schedule performance metrics.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5+ years of scheduling experience supporting large-scale construction projects
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, integrated project schedules independently
• Understanding of construction sequencing across multiple disciplines (electrical, mechanical, civil, structural)
• Experience supporting fast-track, large scale, or mission-critical projects (data center experience strongly preferred)
