Job summary

WSP is seeking a Scheduler to join our Project Controls team. This role will report to our client’s office in Amarillo, TX 3 days per week.

Responsibilities include reviewing contractor schedules, tracking progress, preparing schedule updates and reports, and supporting What-If analyses and Time Impact Analyses. A strong background in CPM, EVM, and schedule risk is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction scheduling or related field office/inspection work (field experience is a major plus).
• Power and Energy experience is required.
• Familiarity with scheduling software: Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to prepare clear written reports.
• PMP/PSP or Primavera courses 102/106 is a plus.
• Ability to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Job Duties

• Basic understanding of CPM scheduling, Earned Value Management, and Schedule Risk Analysis
• Reviewing contractor schedules for compliance with contract documents
• Tracking and verifying progress against baseline schedules
• Preparing schedule updates, progress narratives, and graphical reports (Gantt charts, histograms)
• Supporting “What-If” and recovery schedule scenarios
• Assisting with Time Impact Analyses (TIA) and claims reviews
• Developing planning schedules and resource/cost loading concepts
• Participating in schedule review meetings and collaborating with project teams

Who You Are
