Job summary

Batson-Cook Company is seeking a Scheduler to join the Atlanta, GA team. You will collaborate with Preconstruction and project teams to create detailed construction schedules, monitor progress, and document delays.

The role requires strong communication, site interaction, and a solid background in construction scheduling. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree with 3–7 years of related experience and proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Scheduler in Atlanta, GA to join our Batson-Cook family.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with Preconstruction group/project teams to develop schedules through eachdesign phase.
• Possess strong communicationskills.
• Assist project teams with documenting scheduledelays.
• Possess a strong background of construction experience/knowledge (on the jobsite experiencepreferred).
• Visit or meet with jobsites weekly, bi-weekly or monthly to review schedule updates with projectteam.
• Knowledgeofallmajortypesofconstructionmarketsectors(Multifamily,highrise,healthcare,highereducation,K- 12, senior living, office buildings,etc).
• Extensive experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (MP) and ability to troubleshoot user issues. Experience with training new P6 and MP users (beginning to advanced training). Run P6 and MP schedule reports and analyzedata.
• Partnerwithprojectteamstodevelopdetailedconstructionschedules,understandingthattheprojectteammaintains ultimate control of theschedule.
• Experiencewithallphasesofaproject’slifecycle(proposal,preconstruction,estimating,permitting,procurement, construction, closeout, as-built schedules,etc).
• Performprojectschedulequalitycontrol-baselinecomparison,logic,durations,changes, etc.
• Abilitytodevelopstrongworkingrelationshipswithprojectteams(integrity,honesty&lcth??
• Ability to recognize and analyze risk affecting costs, profit, schedule, safety,. .
• Develops schedule trainingmodules and train employees on scheduling.
• Communicatewith(orto)individualsorgroupsverballyand/orinwriting(e.g.customers,suppliers,employees).
• Maintain relationship to ensure needs are met and problems/conflicts areresolved
• Communicates and reinforces the Company vision, mission andvalues

Preferred Qualification:

• Bachelors degree from a College or University and 3-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
