Batson-Cook Construction seeks a Scheduler in Atlanta, GA to join our team and help drive project timelines from design through closeout. You will collaborate with Preconstruction and project teams to develop detailed schedules, track progress, and communicate status with clarity.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of on-site scheduling experience, strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, and the ability to train others, analyze risks, and report schedule updates to leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3–7 years related experience.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• On-site scheduling experience preferred.

We are currently seeking a Scheduler in Atlanta, GA to join our Batson-Cook family.

• Collaborate with Preconstruction group/project teams to develop schedules through each design phase.
• Possess strong communication skills.
• Assist project teams with documenting schedule delays.
• Possess a strong background of construction experience/knowledge (on the jobsite experience preferred).
• Visit or meet with jobsites weekly, bi-weekly or monthly to review schedule updates with project team.
• Knowledge o fall major types of construction market sectors (Multifamily, high-rise, healthcare, higher education, K- 12, senior living, office buildings, etc.).
• Extensive experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (MP) and ability to troubleshoot user issues. Experience with training new P6 and MP users (beginning to advanced training). Run P6 and MP schedule reports and analyze data.
• Partner with project teams to develop detailed construction schedules, understanding that the project team maintains ultimate control of the schedule.
• Experience with all phases of a project’s lifecycle (proposal, preconstruction, estimating, permitting, procurement, construction, closeout, as-built schedules, etc.).
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with project teams (integrity, honesty, and trust) and tailor approach to meet individual needs.
• Ability to recognize and analyze risk affecting costs, profit, schedule, safety, etc.
• Develops schedule training modules and train employees on scheduling.
• Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or inwriting(e.g. customers, suppliers, employees).
• Maintain relationship to ensure needs are met and problems/conflicts are resolved
• Communicates and reinforces the Company vision, mission and values

Preferred Qualification

• Bachelors degree from a College or University and 3-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
