Job summary

Senior, Midlevel, and Junior levels are available, with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and progressive experience. A Secret Clearance is preferred, and the work involves coordinating complex schedules and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field is required.
  • 10+ years of position-relevant experience for Senior level.
  • 3+ years of position-relevant experience for Midlevel; related experience may substitute for education.

  • Validate technical accuracy of Schedule Reports and lead field-level assessments of tasks.
  • Provide guidance to staff to ensure schedules meet theater-specific standards.
  • Mentor subordinate staff across scheduling teams.

Job description

Minimum Qualifications

MANTECH seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented Schedulers to join our team in Oahu Hawaii, Dallas Texas and Herndon Virginia.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Leads the technical execution of project schedules and validates the accuracy of scheduling data for senior management review.
  • Coordinate the investigation of schedule discrepancies and lead the development of technical root cause analyses for milestone delays.
  • Monitor schedule performance against established benchmarks and validate the implementation of schedule improvements.
  • Conducts specialized technical scheduling reviews for mission execution tasks intended for diverse theater Mission Partners.
  • Validate the technical accuracy of Schedule Reports and lead field-level assessments of task completion and distribution procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance to staff to ensure that all project schedules meet theater-specific and command-mandated standards.
  • Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.

Minimum Qualifications
Senior Level
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field and 10+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
  • Experience in formal schedule oversight and leading technical root cause analysis for schedule delays.
Midlevel
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field and 3+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and technical reporting.
Junior Level
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field (related experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMI-SP or CAPM certification.
  • DAWIA Level II in Program Management (or equivalent).
  • Experience with DoW scheduling tools and performance measurement for expeditionary projects.
Clearance Required
  • Must hold an active Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
