Actalent is seeking a Schedule Manager to create and manage detailed master project schedules from pre-construction through closeout using MS Project. You will drive on-time delivery by building schedules, defining logic, and coordinating with field teams.

This contract-based role in San Antonio offers a stable, long-term opportunity with limited travel, a focus on continuous learning, and exposure to executive reporting through EVM metrics and dashboards.

Responsabilités

• Build dynamic, detailed master project schedules from pre-construction to closeout using MS Project.
• Establish accurate activity logic, predecessor/successor relationships, lead/lag times, and work breakdown structures (WBS).
• Progress-update master schedules by tracking field productivity, milestone achievements, and subcontractor site activities.
• Monitor and analyze critical and near-critical paths to identify potential bottlenecks before they impact project completion dates.
• Perform Time Impact Analyses (TIA) and delay forensic reviews to evaluate change orders, claims, and scope modifications.
• Work directly with field teams to develop recovery or acceleration schedules when delays occur.
• Lead regular scheduling review meetings with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Trade Contractors to align on short-term look-ahead schedules.
• Generate Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics, S-curves, and progress dashboards for executive updates and client reporting.
• Analyze resource loading to ensure trade labor availability aligns with site capacity and baseline targets.

Job Title: Schedule Manager Job Description

As a Schedule Manager, you will be responsible for creating and managing dynamic, detailed master project schedules from pre-construction through to project closeout using MS Project. Your role will be critical in ensuring project timelines are met and any potential delays are effectively managed.

Work Environment

This role is based in San Antonio, TX, and involves minimal travel, approximately 5%. The work environment is supportive, with managers offering flexibility with schedules and work/life balance. The position offers stable, long-term contract opportunities with potential for full-time employment. Employees receive 10 PTO days and 9 paid holidays annually, and any hours worked over 40 are compensated at time and a half. Travel expenses for contractors are covered. The role involves a professional and dynamic work environment focused on continuous learning and development.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of San Antonio, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
