Actalent is seeking a Project Scheduler to lead scheduling for multiple data-center construction projects. The role involves managing CPM baseline schedules from initiation through turnover and coordinating with design, procurement, and field teams on integrated schedules.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of scheduling experience in construction, with large-scale project exposure (> $100M) and proficiency in Primavera P6.

Job Title: Project Scheduler

Job Description

Lead, manage, and oversee project scheduling activities for multiple construction projects of varying size and complexity, supervising scheduling engineers, project staff, and consultants. Develop, maintain, and monitor Critical Path Method (CPM) baseline schedules throughout the project lifecycle, from RFP and project initiation through final turnover.

Responsibilities

• Track project progress, analyze performance against baseline schedules and forecasts, and proactively identify schedule risks and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and maintain detailed master schedules, milestone schedules, look-ahead schedules, and monthly schedule updates with supporting narratives.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and other project teams to develop integrated project schedules.
• Partner with VDC teams to incorporate BIM, 4D scheduling, and logistics planning into project execution strategies.
• Implement and support Last Planner System (LPS) methodologies to enhance schedule reliability and project delivery.
• Develop and maintain resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules to support project planning and performance tracking.
• Facilitate schedule review meetings with project leadership, trade partners, and stakeholders, providing scheduling metrics, dashboard reporting, and operational performance updates.
• Communicate project execution plans and scheduling objectives while driving alignment across project teams and stakeholders.

Essential Skills

• 8+ years in the construction industry, primarily within scheduling.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects greater than $100M, with a preference for data center experience.
• Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in data center construction.
• Ability to use Primavera and other scheduling tools effectively.

Work Environment

This role is based on site at a data center. The typical schedule is 10 days on followed by 3 days off for individuals traveling in.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Buckeye Lake, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $90.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
