Job summary

Nakupuna Consulting seeks a Management Analyst IV- Scheduler/Risk Manager to lead data analysis, risk management, and scheduling for a multi-year IPPS-A AMP contract.

You will produce management reports, mentor junior staff, collaborate with the Army client and internal teams, and help shape program schedules and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 6–10 years federal government/DoD/Army experience preferred.
  • Scheduling experience using Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or similar tools.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency; Azure DevOps a plus.
  • U.S. Citizenship with current Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Record and manage project tasks and resources in an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Routinely update project plans, report status, and forecast on-time delivery.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive risk management process for the program.
  • Prepare risk management reports and communicate risks to stakeholders.
  • CDRL management and configuration management support with cross-team coordination.
  • Ensure CDRL quality and assist teams with comment adjudication in workflows.
  • Interface with client project managers and technical staff.
  • Draft supporting documents for client meetings and presentations.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends in complex data to communicate status.
  • Prioritize business and information needs with team management.
  • Choose effective communication media; include graphics/diagrams as needed.
  • Maintain high-quality, error-free documentation; participate in milestone meetings.

Overview

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Management Analyst IV- Scheduler/Risk Manager to provide data analysis, complex problem-solving, and leadership supporting the execution of a large-size, multi-year contract to the Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A) Army Military Payroll (AMP). The Scheduler/Risk Manager will serve as an expert-level business analyst by analyzing organizational frameworks, identifying weak points, and proposing improvements. The Scheduler/Risk Manager will be responsible for producing management reports for implementing management procedures and will report data findings to the Program Manager as well as the Army client. Mentorship of junior staff-members will also be an element of this position, and the Scheduler/Risk Manager should be willing to collaborate and coach team members across the AMP program.

Responsibilities
  • Record and manage project tasks and resource requirements in an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Routinely update full-scale project plans, report on project status, and forecast whether the project will be delivered on-time.
  • Design and implement an overall risk management process for the program, including documentation and analysis of risk impacts and mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare risk management reports and communicate risks to internal stakeholders, clients, and government stakeholders.
  • Perform CDRL management and document configuration management support, including document and versioning control. This includes coordinating with technical, operational, and management team members to create and deliver CDRL items.
  • Ensure CDRL quality when deliverables arrive, to include inspecting for proper markings; review Government CDRL responses and ensure comment clarity and quality; assist teams to make and adjudicate comments in CDRL workflows.
  • Interface directly with client project managers and technical staff.
  • Work with technical staff to interpret, organize, and draft supporting documents for client meetings and presentations.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to create reports and professional documents that communicate project status to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with team management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Use judgement to select the best communication medium to convey content; may include use of graphics, diagrams, charts, etc.
  • Standardization of content with a high level of attention to detail allowing for delivery of documentation with minimal error.
  • Participate in client and milestone meetings to maintain ongoing awareness of project status.
Qualifications

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree with 6 to 10 years of experience within the federal government, DoD, Army, or IC and/or private sector preferred. Must have scheduling experience using Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software. Microsoft Office Suite experience required. Azure DevOps experience a plus.

Skills/Qualifications: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with strong analytical analysis with high level of detail and accuracy. Solid judgment and decision-making ability with focus on customer service. Able to carry out tasks independently while also working with cross-functional teams.

Clearance Requirements: This position requires a current Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Work Location: Work location will be in Arlington, Virginia. This is a hybrid position working out of the Arlington, VA office.

Physical Requirements: The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $115,000.00 to $155,000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
