PRIMARY PURPOSE: The campus reading and/or math interventionist serves as part of the school’s leadership team: providing specialized instruction to identified struggling learners receiving services through the response to intervention process, monitoring student progress through quantitative and qualitative measures and participating in Student Success Plan (SSP) meetings to provide recommendations regarding adjustments to student instructional plans. In addition to providing support in core areas of reading and/or math to students, he/she will provide professional development and guidance for teachers to improve their knowledge of differentiating instructional strategies and monitoring/adjusting said practices to appropriately measure student progress in the classroom.

Minimum Experience:
Minimum 3 years of credible teaching experience of relevant content areas.

Frequent in-district and occasional in-state or national travel. Occasional prolonged and irregular hours.
