Job summary

NOVA Engineering is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector (SCDOT) for our Greenville, SC office. The successful candidate will oversee field inspections for roadway projects, coordinate with contractors and NOVA staff, and ensure adherence to project specifications.

You will perform tests, prepare daily field reports, and contribute to quality control efforts while supporting growth and advancement within the firm.

Qualifications

• SCDOT HMA Level 1 QC Technician is required.
• SCDOT ART/Earthworks/Concrete experience is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in construction inspection with roadway focus and HMA QA lab testing.
• 3+ years of roadway and bridge construction experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of SCDOT construction standards and procedures.

Requirements:

• SCDOT Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Level 1 Quality Control Technician is required
• SCDOT in Asphalt Roadway Technician (ART), Earthworks, Concrete, etc. are plus
• 2+ years of experience in construction inspection with a focus on roadway field inspection and HMA quality assurance lab testing
• Highly desired with a minimum of 3 years of experience in roadway and bridge construction
• Strong knowledge of SCDOT construction standards and procedures
