Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• 10+ years of infrastructure construction experience.
• 5+ years managing SCDOT projects.
• 5+ years leadership experience.
• Must pass a negative drug test prior to hire and maintain it.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans, specs, and provisions including DOT.
• Able to manage multiple projects, crews, and equipment.
• Ability to program GPS devices for equipment/rovers.
• Background checks per SBCC policy.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Willing to work nights/weekends as schedule requires.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations across multiple projects.
• Ensure work is safe, on schedule, and within budget.
• Coordinate with inspectors, engineers, and testing firms.
• Manage crews and subcontractors; maintain production goals.
• Produce SCDOT-compliant daily logs and reports.
• Maintain quality control and safe, clean job sites.
• Attend coordination and progress meetings; monitor schedule and budget.
