Job summary

American Society for Hematology (ASH) is seeking a SCD Community Engagement & Administration Specialist in Washington, DC to support the ASH Research Collaborative’s SCD program and manage administrative functions for staff and stakeholders.

You will help coordinate meetings with national and local CABs, prepare agendas and materials, and help maintain documentation and tracking systems. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to drive program priorities and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in public health, advocacy, or community engagement.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative coordination for the ASH RC SCD Community Engagement Program.
• Coordinate meetings, agendas, materials, minutes and follow-ups for CABs and related groups.
• Support development and dissemination of plain-language materials and program resources.
• Maintain stakeholder records and assist with progress reports and data tracking.
