Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced SCCM & Intune Migration Engineer to lead enterprise endpoint modernization. The role focuses on migrating from SCCM/MECM to Intune and cloud-based management, assessing current environments, and designing migration strategies.

You will collaborate with Security, Azure, Networking, and Service Desk teams to deliver secure, scalable endpoint services. The position emphasizes co-management, Windows Autopilot, Entra ID, and Defender integration, with governance,

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in enterprise endpoint management
Expertise with SCCM/MECM, Intune, and co-management
Hands-on with Entra ID, Hybrid Join, and Azure services
Experience designing and implementing Windows Autopilot and modern endpoint management
Strong PowerShell scripting, automation, and troubleshooting
Experience with application packaging, deployment, patch management
Knowledge of Defender for Endpoint, security, Zero Trust
Experience leading large SCCM-to-Intune migrations

Responsibilities

Assess existing SCCM/MECM environments and related ops.
Develop and execute migration strategy to Intune and cloud-based endpoint management.
Design target-state architecture leveraging Intune, Entra ID, Windows Autopilot, Conditional Access, Defender.
Configure and manage SCCM-Intune Co-management and transition workloads.
Lead migration of configurations, policies, applications, and security controls to Intune.
Implement Entra ID Join/Hybrid Join and Autopilot for device provisioning.
Plan pilot deployments, migration waves, and minimize business disruption.
Develop migration governance, risk management, and success metrics.
Create KPI dashboards and executive status reports.
Produce architecture docs, runbooks, SOPs, migration procedures.
Collaborate across Infrastructure, Security, Azure, Networking, Service Desk, Desktop Engineering, Applications.
Lead knowledge transfer and post-migration stabilization.
Develop and execute SCCM infrastructure rationalization and decommissioning.
