Job summary

CEI is seeking a Back System Engineer (SCCM) in Fort Lauderdale, FL, on a hybrid contract basis. The role focuses on SCCM deployments, security oversight with Qualys, patch management, and incident response.

Strong collaboration with IT teams is required to maintain health and security across the infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and hands-on experience with SCCM and security assessments.

Responsibilities

Software Deployment and Management: Utilize SCCM to deploy software, updates, and patches across the organization's network, ensuring all systems are up-to-date and compliant with security standards.
System Configuration and Management: Configure and manage SCCM to maintain and optimize the performance of IT systems, including workstations, servers, and mobile devices.
Security Assessments: Conduct vulnerability scans and security assessments using Qualys to identify and address potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Patch Management: Implement and manage patch management processes to ensure all systems are protected against known vulnerabilities.
Incident Response: Respond to and resolve IT incidents and security breaches, working closely with the IT team to mitigate risks and prevent future occurrences.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, configurations, and security assessments. Generate reports on system performance and security status for management review.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other IT team members to support various IT projects and initiatives. Provide technical guidance and support to end-users as needed.
