Job summary

Leidos LLC is seeking an SCBA Technician at the Center for Domestic Preparedness in Anniston, AL. You will operate the SCBA refill cascade system, troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and ensure accountability of SCBA bottles for training delivery services under the government contract.

Responsibilities include inspecting bottles, tracking life cycles, performing hydrostatic tests, and maintaining logs and documentation to ensure compliance with safety standards. This role requires U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 65 pounds.
• Must be U.S. citizen and able to obtain final suitability through pre-placement screening including background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate cascade system to fill SCBA bottles to support training departments in a time-sensitive environment.
• Inspect and evaluate SCBA bottles for operational condition, life cycle, and hydrostatic testing dates prior to recharge.
• Apply diagnostic skills to troubleshoot SCBA equipment and perform repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Implement and maintain preventative maintenance procedures for SCBA air breathing systems.
• Perform scheduled inspections of SCBA breathing air machines and initiate air sample testing.
