Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Scanning Operator II in Throop, PA, to manage end-to-end scanning, indexing and electronic conversion tasks for client projects.

Responsibilities include operating Ricoh, Kodak, Canon, Minolta scanners and ensuring timely, accurate output in client-specified media. The role requires attention to detail, strong computer skills and the ability to handle multiple projects with quality checks, while maintaining equipment and workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years' experience in a mailroom or professional office environment.
• Advanced knowledge of metering, weighting, logging and shipping procedures.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to operate and maintain scanning equipment.
• Availability to work overtime and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, prepare, process projects for document scanning, electronic conversion, indexing, stamping; Check specifications for accuracy and timing.
• Output processed files to client-specified media (TIFF, OCR, PDF, email, CD, DVD, load files).
• Duplicate and label media per client format and deadlines.
• Handle blowback requests accurately and efficiently within timeframes.
• Maintain scanner quality; report mechanical issues and keep equipment clean.
• Log in/out boxes, create barcodes, and follow prep procedures.
• Prepare monthly production and volume reports for productivity and billing.
• May perform duties like mail handling, faxes, reception, and light maintenance as needed.
