Job summary

MatWorks is seeking a detail-oriented Scanner Operator to ensure scanned materials are accurate and properly stored. You will support production, maintain records, and uphold 5S/lean standards in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and strong attention to detail, with the ability to read production orders and work well in a team during the 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with computers and able to learn new software.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization.
• Able to read and understand production orders.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all scanned data is accurate, complete, and properly stored in the system.
• Inspect scanned outputs for quality assurance and make corrections when necessary.
• Maintain records of scanned files, job orders, and workflow progress.
• Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Keep work area clean and organized, adhering to company 5S/lean standards.
