Job summary

MAC.BID in St. Peters, MO, is seeking a Scanner Associate to join the scan line. The role is full-time, on-site, and hourly with a 30-minute lunch. You will use proprietary software to scan items, upload data, crop photos, and ensure accurate online listings.

Tasks include researching products, meeting quality goals, and helping with additional duties as needed. Must be able to lift up to 25 lb (50 lb with team) and stand/walk for long periods; HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• On-site availability with Monday–Friday schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb alone and 50 lb with a team.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Basic tech proficiency and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Scan items into the system to create online auction listings.

SCANNER ASSOCIATE

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The S can T eam uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy. This position reports to the Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scan items quickly and thoroughly into the system to create online auction listings
• Search products online
• Screenshot and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete information for each item
• Responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
