Job summary

MAC DISCOUNT LLC, operating as MAC.BID, is seeking a Scanner Associate to join the Akron team. This full-time hourly role involves scanning items into the auction system and creating accurate online listings, with duties including product searches, photographing and cropping images, and ensuring data quality.

The position requires on-site availability, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds (50 pounds with team help), and stamina to stand and walk for long periods.

Qualifications

SCANNER ASSOCIATE

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The S can T eam uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy. This position reports to the Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scan items quickly and thoroughly into the system to create online auction listings
• Search products online
• Screenshot and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete information for each item
• Responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Other tasks as assigned by management
