Job summary

APAC Tennessee, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a field office support role near Memphis. You will weigh and ticket trucks, prepare daily load summaries, manage inventory, accept payments, perform light typing and filing, answer calls, and assist with customer relations.

You will also handle light bookkeeping, couriers, and work with vendors while maintaining accuracy and strong organizational skills. Occasional travel to locations in MS may be required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One (1) year related experience is preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disability to perform essential functions.

Summary

This position requires the employee to perform a wide variety of field office support functions including, but not limited to, the following: weighing and ticketing trucks, preparing daily load summaries, managing inventory, accepting payment, basic typing and word processing, filing, answering calls, light bookkeeping, courier duties, customer relations, etc.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. One (1) year related experience is preferred.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Knowledge and experience with Microsoft operating systems.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions

Ability to work various shifts (days, nights, swings)

Valid Driver License - Must be able to travel for extended periods to locations in Mississippi

Must be detail oriented, highly organized and have the ability to work well with limited direction and supervison.
