Responsibilities

• Supply necessary materials to the Packing Room to support daily production operations.
• Complete daily equipment checklist prior to operating pallet jack.
• Handle part boxes of product and place in proper freezer locations; pull product for line work.
• Know freezer locations and proper storage locations for product.
• Stack skids and assist in making boxes and operating the skid wrapper.
• Complete all required paperwork and enter pallet tickets into the computer.
• Perform lifting and stacking of product at or above shoulder level as required.
• Keep work area clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Arrangement

• Physical Classification: 1-7 (see Back & Task Chart)
• Hours: 2:30 p.m.- 11:30 p.m. (Hours May Vary)
• Wage: $22.96 /hour
• JOB SUMMARY: Supply materials, as required, to the Packing Room and transport finished product from the freezer line to a pallet.

JOB DUTIES

• Supply necessary materials, such as boxes, labels, bags, etc. to the Packing Room, to support daily production operations.
• Complete daily equipment checklist prior to operating pallet jack.
• Handle part boxes of product to ensure they are put in proper location in freezer. Also, pull product from freezer to be worked into the line operation.
• Know freezer locations and proper storage locations for product.
• Stack skids. Assist in making boxes and operating the skid wrapper.
• Complete all required paperwork. Enter pallet tickets and other information into the computer as required.
• Job requires frequent bending, lifting and twisting throughout the work shift. Will be required to lift and stack product at and above shoulder level.
• Keep work area clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS

High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment and dust may be present. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.
