You will prepare scales, select ingredients, weigh per formulas, and record weights on bags. Must lift up to 100 lbs, work overtime, and communicate effectively with team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Zero to one year of manufacturing experience, preferably in baking.
• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Ability to read scales and thermometers; understands units of measurement.
• Ability to work 8–12 hour shifts, weekends and overtime.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and independently at times.

Responsibilities

• Check the schedule to determine ingredients and amounts to be scaled/weighed.
• Prepare scales for weighing process.
• Select specified ingredients for dough mixture.
• Accurately weigh each ingredient per formulas and instructions.
• Record shift, ingredients and initials on bags; record all lot numbers.
• Place ingredient bags weighing up to 100 lbs. on moving cart and transport.
• Maintain GMPs and clean work area; communicate changes between shifts.
