Job summary

Maker's Pride is seeking a diligent scale operator to accurately weigh ingredients for daily dough blends and keep a clean, compliant workstation. You will verify weights, record data on bags, and ensure GMP practices are followed across shifts.

The role requires standing for long periods, the ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and precise math skills. Overtime on weekends may be required in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Familiarity with GMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check schedule to determine ingredients and amounts to be scaled.
• Prepare scales for the weighting process and weigh each ingredient.
• Select specified ingredients for the dough mixture.
• Record shift, ingredients, and bag initials; log lot numbers.
• Place ingredients on carts and communicate changes to the next shift scaler.
• Follow GMP requirements and report any foreign materials immediately.
