Panzarella Material Recovery Facility in South Florida is seeking a detail-oriented Scalehouse Operator. You will weigh trucks, enter data into our system, and ensure accurate customer charges while maintaining organized tickets and reports.

The role requires strong communication, MS Office skills, and familiarity with scalehouse software. Experience in MRF environments and safety-focused work is preferred; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of four years of relevant work experience.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory/lead capacity.
• Proficiency in scalehouse/ weighbridge software and MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; English required; Spanish preferred.
• Experience with MRF or solid waste compliance and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Weigh inbound and outbound trucks using scale equipment.
• Enter weights, customer info, and load data into company software.
• Ensure proper charging of customers based on weight and material type.
• Collect and organize scale tickets and documentation for reporting.
• Maintain clear communication with drivers, haulers, and site staff.
• Monitor traffic flow and ensure safety compliance at the scalehouse.
