Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Kendallville, IN seeks a Scalehouse Attendant to weigh trucks entering the landfill or transfer station and to provide courteous service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Physical/Mental Demands: • Ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, talk, and hear. • Visual Requirements: include close vision and distance vision. • Possess ability to occasionally lift/move up to 10 pounds.
