Job summary

ReSource is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to scale pilot to demonstration-scale production in Oakland, CA. You will design, build, and troubleshoot pilot equipment while partnering with R&D to evaluate bench-scale testing.

You bring 8+ years of industrial process engineering, strong knowledge of PFDs/P&IDs, process controls, and a relentless focus on safety, quality, and timely project delivery in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of process engineering experience in an industrial setting.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, operating, and troubleshooting pilot-scale equipment.
• Proficiency in process flow design principles, PFDs and P&IDs.
• Familiarity with process controls & instrumentation and sensor integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate, and troubleshoot pilot-scale equipment systems.
• Work with R&D to design, execute, and evaluate bench-scale testing.
• Maintain records of process designs, IP ideation, data, vendor partnerships, and procurement tracking.
• Manage technical communications internally and with external partners.
• Enforce safety culture and ensure compliance with protocols.
