Job summary

Fairbanks Scales Inc. is hiring a Scale Technician to install, calibrate, and repair a range of scales and weighing systems across client sites. You will document actions and deliver high-quality service to customers while maintaining safety and accuracy.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a technical certificate or 2-year degree is a plus, and a valid Class B CDL. Expect variable hours, including after-hours and some weekends, guided by safety and customer needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate/2-year degree is a plus.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• 1–2 years in maintenance, mechanical, industrial or electrical fields is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with teammates, sales managers and customers.
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain Class B CDL.
• Ability to work beyond regular hours including weekends when required.
• Safety-minded approach to work and safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, service, and repair various scales and weighing systems.
• Document calibration and repair actions on inspection checklists and forms.
• Provide excellent service while interacting with customers and teammates.
