Kanawha Scales & Systems is seeking a Scale Service Technician (CDL required) for our Harrison, OH team. You will install, calibrate, inspect, and repair a variety of industrial and commercial scales, ensuring accurate measurements and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 2–3 years of relevant industry experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; Class B (or A) CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Install industrial, laboratory, and commercial scales per manufacturer specs.
• Calibrate scales to meet precision requirements.
• Maintain and repair scales to minimize downtime.
• Inspect scales for wear, damage, and proper function.
• Document service and calibration reports with certificates.
• Communicate with customers about service needs and estimates.
• Follow safety protocols with heavy equipment and electrical components.
• Ensure serviced scales meet quality and regulatory standards.
• Track tools, parts, and equipment; replenish supplies as needed.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and scale technology.
