Job summary

Arepet Industries, LLC is seeking a Scale Operator for our Von Ormy, Texas plant. The role involves weighing trucks, documenting weights, and coordinating inbound/outbound operations in a busy sand plant environment.

Work is desk- and office-based within an active facility, with 12-hour shifts on a rotating 4-on/4-off schedule. Safety-sensitive position governed by MSHA rules; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in scale/dispatch, admin, mining, trucking, logistics, or production is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate scale and loadout systems; record inbound/outbound truck weights (gross, tare, net).
• Verify truck numbers, carrier info, purchase orders, load details, and documentation for accuracy.
• Coordinate with drivers and plant personnel to ensure safe, accurate loading of trucks.
• Maintain scale tickets, invoices, and load records; distribute documentation as required.
• Assist with production records, reports, and administrative duties as assigned.
• Follow MSHA safety requirements and plant policies; participate in safety meetings.
