Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Scale Operator to support the smooth flow of traffic at the Niagara site. You will handle ticketing, dispatch coordination, and cash collection, ensuring accurate daily reconciliation and timely communication with the main office.

The role emphasizes basic computer skills, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work with weights and measures in a fast-paced environment. Join a team focused on reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Weigh Master License may be required in some states.
• Basic computer skills and understanding of hardware/software.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Operations using units of money, weight, volume, and distance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates truck dispatch to jobs with orders from Dispatch Office and operates computer to produce customer tickets.
• Verifies tickets for numbers, date and time accuracy.
• Collects COD money and records it properly.
• Sends transaction register and ticket copies to main office daily.
• Transfers all files and tickets at least twice daily.
• Answers phones and takes accurate messages for others.
• Tares trucks (empty weight) weekly and records tons sold by product.
• Maintains product knowledge to answer customer questions.
• Performs housekeeping duties to keep scale house clean and orderly.
• Assists Plant employees as required.
• Performs other administrative duties as assigned.

About The Role

Provides timely and accurate tickets to customers ensuring the smooth flow of traffic across the scale, and assists in the coordination of truck dispatch orders to ensure maximum efficiency of trucking.

What You’ll Accomplish
