Job summary

Circular Services is seeking a Scale Operator in Sarasota, FL to support scale house administration and operate the scale system. The role emphasizes accuracy in weight data, ticketing, and coordinating with haulers and drivers in a busy recycling processing plant.

Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working under pressure in a noisy environment. Shift is Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, with some Saturday hours, and benefits include comprehensive health coverage,

Qualifications

• Experience with scale house data entry and weight information.
• Ability to verify tickets and bills of lading for accuracy.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced recycling facility environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate scale house computers to obtain weight information for incoming haulers and outbound shipments.
• Verify shipment contents and weights by comparing scale tickets and bills of lading.
• Maintain accurate records for reporting and analysis.
• Communicate with haulers, drivers and supervisors regarding operations.
