Job summary

Waste Pro of Florida seeks a Recycle Center Scale Operator/Admin in Fort Myers to weigh trucks, enter data, generate bills, and handle cash.

You will greet customers, process payments, prepare deposits, and produce daily, monthly, and yearly reports while maintaining a safe scale area.

No CDL required; high school diploma preferred; MS Word/Excel skills and strong communication are expected; occasional overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to deal effectively with people.
• Excellent verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to multitask.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• MS Word and MS Excel skills required.
• Evening and/or weekend overtime work may be required depending on business need.

Responsibilities

• Operates the weight station scale.
• Greets and assists the public in a friendly manner providing quality customer service.
• Enters information into computer program on a daily basis.
• Prepares daily deposit.
• Balances and handles cash drawer on a daily basis.
• Answers the phone, Checks mail.
• Prepares customer charge account invoices for billing.
• Receives, annotates, and processes payments.
• Prepares monthly and yearly reports as requested.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment in the scale office.
