Job summary

The Weighmaster at Cemex US manages daily scale-house operations, scheduling and workflow while delivering excellent customer service. Reporting to the plant manager, this role also acts as backup Weighmaster as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus experience with aggregates and dispatching; SAP/Apex and Excel familiarity is beneficial. Some shifts include weekends and variable hours in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with aggregate products and dispatching is a plus.
• Ability to work weekends and multiple shifts as needed.
• Analytical, problem-solving and highly organized with attention to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain computerized records of material amounts and truck identities.
• Dispatch aggregate deliveries and issue weigh certificates.
• Coordinate with inspectors and plant management for scale operations.
• Ensure safety compliance with CEMEX, MSHA and OSHA rules.
• Assist credit and accounting with reconciliations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
