Job summary

Acadian Contractors, Inc. in Abbeville, LA seeks Offshore Scaffold Builders to erect, inspect, repair and dismantle scaffolds for offshore construction projects. Safety-conscious workers who can operate independently or with a crew are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and work with hand tools.
• Experience erecting and dismantling scaffolds.
• Knowledge of OSHA standard 1926.451 for scaffold construction.
• Ability to work in confined quarters and adverse weather conditions.
• Physical ability to bend, kneel, crouch, stand, walk, and climb stairs.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
